About

EdenBerry is the ideal destination in Namibia for berry-lovers, fun-seeking families and outdoor enthusiasts. This idyllic farm is a commercial strawberry grower and popular family venue that appeals to visitors of all ages. Experiences on offer include picking your own strawberries, the Upside Down House and outdoor playground and splash pools, and day picnic spots.

First class fruit is picked and supplied to national retailers countrywide, including O&L Fresh, Spar, Cape Town Fish Market and Kauai. The Farm has also branched out toward local value addition by producing strawberry jam.

The farm employees six permanent staff members and adds nine seasonal workers during harvest time, between August and January every year.

Sustainability

We are committed to conserving our local environment by growing the best quality, organic strawberries in well protected tended sites that allow our strawberries to thrive and develop their full flavours.

Water

EdenBerry and its management are aware that our country is water scarce and as such needs to be vigilant when consuming water. In order to use as little of our precious resources as possible, we use timers linked to a drip irrigation watering system which gives precise amounts of water to our plants, and we use a plastic mulch to cover our strawberry beds. This prevents evaporation and saves a lot of water.

Social Responsibility

EdenBerry supplies old-age homes and churches with fresh strawberries. The farm also ploughs back into neighbouring communities by providing educational programmes to schools.
